Educational Design, Development and Measurable Outcomes

NACCME is proficient in all aspects of the learning cycle beginning with educational design, including needs assessment to identify practice gaps and barriers to optimal care; developing program objectives based on those gaps and barriers; and using educational platforms rooted in adult-learning principles to effectively meet program objectives. Outcomes measurement is an integral part of programming at NACCME. A variety of tools — such as long-term participant surveys, case studies, focus panels and chart reviews — are used to quantify program effectiveness of each activity and uncover future educational needs.

NACCME is fully staffed with clinical program directors to collaborate with expert faculty in content development. The ability of our staff to engage in medical writing, editorial proofreading, and fact-checking lessens the faculty burden and aptly positions NACCME to work with the highest-level, perpetually busy faculty.
