
The Coalition of Rheumatology Educators (CORE) is the result of an ongoing collaboration with a world-class faculty advisory committee who collaborate with CORE to develop curriculum focused on improving outcomes in rheumatic disease patients. CORE's primary purpose is improving practitioners' knowledge, competencies and practices in the areas of early diagnosis, optimal management and ongoing clinical assessment of disease activity, to assist in achieving patient remission. Small-group regional workshops are the flagship platform for CORE education, but the curriculum is available each year in various formats on many topics.
Cystic Fibrosis Learning Center (CFLC) offers continuing educational support for professionals and families affected by cystic fibrosis (CF), provided by the most respected CF professionals in the United States. The unique format of the annual CFLC Continuum of Care Conference provides two concurrent educational tracks for healthcare practitioners and family members, addressing all CF needs simultaneously and providing much-needed connections between CF caregivers and experts.
Managed Care Learning Network (MCLN) focuses on barriers to improved outcomes and patient care as described by the managed care community. Through more than 100 managed care education initiatives and partnerships with AMCP, NAMCP and NCQA, among others, MCLN has worked with managed care and clinical experts to provide multimedia educational programs that demonstrate vital trends in successful managed care, including the incorporation of evidence-based guidelines, extensive patient education, and continuous evaluation and outcome measurement.
NACCME Cardiovascular combines extensive knowledge in cardiology and rhythm management with effective educational formatting to deliver the highest quality cardiovascular education. In addition to extensive contributions to the Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Sessions and the Annual Boston Atrial Fibrillation Symposium, NACCME produces LUMEN, an annual meeting devoted to improving STEMI care worldwide, and the Electrophysiology Innovations Congress.
Pharmacy Learning Network (PLN) provides a complete educational experience, specifically targeted to health-system pharmacists. Live regional PLN conferences are held nationwide to offer interactive education in a live setting, followed by sequential web-based programming after live-event completion. This learner-driven, long-term educational method ensures that health-system pharmacists receive the knowledge and practical application strategies needed to implement beneficial changes within their facility.
The Symposium on Advanced Wound Care and Wound Healing Society (SAWC) is the largest annual gathering of multidisciplinary wound care specialists in the United States. Professionals in this area attend SAWC to remain up-to-date on basic wound care protocol, as well as to learn how to integrate research data into effective patient management and incorporate all relevant disciplines into patient wound care.
