Management Team

Jeff Hennessy, President and CEO

Jeff Hennessy is one of the medical media industry's most prolific experts on producing educational products and publications for clinicians. For more than 20 years, he has worked in a variety of specialty areas — including internal medicine, family practice, geriatric medicine, cardiology, pharmacy and managed care — working directly with doctors, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists and nurse practitioners to provide relevant, top-of-mind resources.

Before joining HMP Communications Holdings, LLC, he founded Princeton Media Associates, LLC (PMA), a medical media company that created well-respected educational healthcare brands, distributed live, in print, and electronically on the web. Some titles include CORE (the Coalition of Rheumatology Educators), Managed Care First Report, and the Princeton Teleconference Series. HMP Communications Holdings acquired PMA in 2008, integrating it with its subsidiary — the North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC. The acquisition created one of the country's largest and most respected accredited continuing medical education companies, as Hennessy assumed the roles of president and chief operating officer of the parent organization, HMP Communications Holdings, LLC.

Before launching PMA, he and his former partner started American Medical Publishing. During his tenure, he developed one of the most successful launches in medical publishing history, the American Journal of Managed Care. American Medical Publishing was acquired in 2001 by Medical World Communications, where Hennessy served as group publisher, then president of the medical division.
